Receiving a radio station in a home or business can be tricky. Why, because in this day and age we have Computers, Modems, LED bulbs, CFL bulbs, Cell phones and Cell phone chargers and believe it or not new appliances. These devices contain mini computers that cause interference to radio reception. Refrigerators, washing machines, dish washers and ovens. We recommend an FM antenna located outside the home. You will be surprised what you can pick up. An old TV antenna will work too. If your receiver does not have an antenna input, move the wire antenna around for best reception. (make sure it is completely unfolded)
If an antenna outside is not possible the radio should be placed away from the items mentioned above. A portable radio with the antenna fully extended by the window would be the best choice.
